A Chubby Little Snowman A chubby little snowman Had a carrot nose Along came a rabbit And what do you suppose? That hungry little bunny, Looking for his lunch, ATE the snowman's carrot nose... Nibble, nibble, CRUNCH! A chubby little snowman Had an apple nose. Along came a pony, And what do you suppose? That hungry little pony Looking for his lunch Ate the snowman's apple nose Crunch, crunch, munch! How about adding these verses: pickle/child banana/monkey cookie/bird ear of corn/squirrel Build a Little Snowman Sung to 'I'm a Little Teapot' Build a little snowman, starting with his feet. Put on lot of snow, and pat it all so neat. Then make a round ball, and put it up on top. The sun will come out, and make the snowman hot. Five Little Snowmen Five little snowmen were built one day. They looked to the sky and I heard the first one say: "I don't think I'll stay for long in this spot. The sun's mighty warm and I'm getting rather hot." The second one said, with a frown upon his face, "I think we'd be smart to get out of this place." The third one said, with a tear in his eye, "I think it's time for us to say good-bye." The fourth one said, with a lopsided grin, "We all seem to getting mighty thin." The fifth one said, with a grin from ear to ear, "We don't need to say good-bye; we'll be back again next year." Five Little Snowmen Five little snowmen riding on the sled (pretend five fingers are sledding) One fell off and bumped his head (pretend one finger falls off... rub head) I called Frosty and Frosty said (dial imaginary telephone) "No more snowmen, riding on that sled!" (Say in deep voice) Four little snowmen...etc. I'm a Friendly Snowman by Shel Silverstein I'm a friendly snowman, big and fat, Here is my tummy and here is my hat. I'm a happy fellow, here's my nose I'm all snow from my head to my toes. I have two bright eyes so I can see All the snow falling down on me. When the weather's cold, I'm strong and tall, But when it's warm, I get very small. I'm A Little Snow Person... (I'm A Little Teapot) I'm a little snow person, Short and fat. Here are my buttons, Here is my hat. When the sun comes out, I cannot stay. Slowly I just melt away. I'm a Little Snowman I'm a little snowman, Short and fat. Here are my mittens, Here is my hat. When the sun comes out, I melt away. See you next year On a snowy day! I'm a Little Snow Pal... I'm a Little Teapot I'm a little snow pal running by you, I'm made of snow, this is true. But when the children ask me to play I just cannot sit all day. Little Snowman (to the tune of "I'm a Little Teapot") I'm a little snowman round and fat, Here are my mittens, Here is my hat. Add a little scarf and a carrot nose. You stand so tall when the cold wind blows. Our Snowman by Harrient Whipple We rolled a large snowball All over the ground; To gather up snowflakes We pushed it around. And as it went rolling It grew and it grew. Then we made another So there would be two. It was really hard work, I called for my mother To help put the second On top of the other. Then a smaller one yet Was used for a head, And we gave him a hat And a muffler of red. When his plump snowy arms Were in the right place, We looked for some felt To mark out his face. A mouth which was easy, Two eyes and a nose, The rest were for buttons To trim up his clothes. We turned his mouth upward To give him a smile, And hoped we could keep him At least for awhile. He looked very handsome When he was all done, And we let him stand guard With a broom for a gun. Snowman Snowman, snowman, Where did you go? I built you yesterday out of snow. I built you high, and I built you fat. I put on eyes and a nose and a hat. Now you're gone, All melted away, But it's sunny outside So I'll go out and play! THE IMPATIENT SNOWMAN by Vivian Gould I made a chubby snowman And had a lot of fun. I thought he looked so happy When I left him in the sun. I told him I was going But was coming back to play. I guess he got impatient Because he ran away! He The Snowman One day we built a snowman, We built him out of snow; You should have seen how fine he was, All white from top to toe. We poured some water over him, To freeze his legs and ears; And when we went indoors to bed, We thought he'd last for years. But, in the night a warmer kind Of wind began to blow; And Jack Frost cried and ran away, And with him went the snow. When we went out next morning To bid our friend "Good Day", There wasn't any snowman there... He'd melted right away! The Snowman I made a great tall snowman With two huge coal black eyes And just to reach around his neck Took two of Daddy's ties. I put a hat of mother's Upon his rounded head And then I ran and left him And hurried off to bed. When I awoke next morning Imagine my surprise My snowman had run away And left his hat, ties, and eyes! The Snowman I made a really big snowman Of icicles and of snow. The sun came out, That snowman said, "Uh-oh, I have to go! I sure don't like The looks of this, That sun must leave today; 'Cause if he doesn't, It won't be long Until I melt away!" The Snowman and the Bunny A chubby little snowman Had a carrot nose. Along came a bunny And what do you suppose? That hungry little bunny Looking for his lunch Ate the snowman's carrot nose. Crunch, crunch, crunch. The Snowman Song I am a little snowman. I am so fat and round. I started from a snowflake that fell upon the ground. I have two buttons for my eyes, a great big scarf of red, I have a carrot for a nose, a hat upon my head. Watch me as I melt to the ground. THE SNOWMAN! by Catherine Clark The man made of snow Wears snowflake clothes, A funny hat And a carrot nose. With an old broomstick He stands on guard And watches the games From the snowbound yard. He sees children play, Having snowball fun Till the bright, warm sun Makes him run, run, ru
